Hope all is going well, I just read your blog again today. You posted more updates on it. It will be a little nippy when you get back here in the states. So far, many issues have come up since you left and I have had to sort it out and allow God to take part in it. Actually I allowed him to be the wheelman. I hope to see you soon, brotha! Send me a mail or a phone call whenever. I left some messages.

Doyle Yarbrough - November 30, 2007
I was led to your blog by Mark who was companion to my son when he went to Pak last year and stayed three months in and out between the villages and Gilgit. We are from Nashville, and I think you might be also. Is this true? My son is now in Kyiv, Ukraine and will be home for Christmas for a couple of weeks before going back. Maybe you guys and he could get together and share "squatty potty" fraternity stories. I may be wrong about the Nashville thing and if so, blessings to you all anyway. Give me a shout back

Chris & Melissa Herring - November 30, 2007

Dustin Mimbs - November 6, 2007
David (and others), I wanted to remind you that I am praying for your travels to be safe and that God will accomplish through all of you to be His Light in a seemingly Christ-less land. I look forward to your return around Thanksgiving. Praising Him, Dustin Mimbs (from Trinity)

Marishell - November 5, 2007
Greetings David! My heart is overjoyed at your opportunities to share the amazing good news to those you are meeting in Pakistan. I'm in love with all of those children as I see their precious faces in the pictures! How cool are your treks through the valleys and mountaintops! All creation testifies of our amazing God. My prayers are with you all, and I look forward to hearing more. (2 Cor. 4:16-18 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.)

Hey guys! I feel like I went through a time tunnel.....I miss you guys so much! Being back in China was awesome though, I got to see everyone, and Alyssa had a good couple of days debriefing in Beijing. I got to have my first starbucks in 6 months :). I'm so glad I got to spend my last couple weeks in Pak with you guys..I'll never forget your techno dancing David, or how you saved my life by sleeping on my feet Ashton! Hopefully I'll get to see you soon?!

Scott and Karen Allen - November 4, 2007
Wow! Look at all the "orbs" (round semi-visible balls of light) in the second photo of your blog! (the one that shows the 12 trekers in a group photo at night.) Orbs usually are manifestations of angels. We counted at least 20 "angels" in the photo! The presence of the Lord and the angels are with you! Love ya and praying for you all, Scott and Karen Allen

Al & Kathy Sears - November 4, 2007
Curt & David, It's great to hear from you guys, send us more pictures. We miss ya'll. Blessings, Al & Kathy

Jane - November 4, 2007
Hi David, I like what you shared in your blog. It is really fun to read your lines about this trek. Now I am sitting at my comfortable home and drinking flower tea. Though my coughing reminds me that I was trekking with your guys not long time ago, I still feel hard to believe I did that. Special thanks for your kindness at the last day of my stay in Pakistan. Every cup of honey tea or every encouraging word meant a lot to me while I was so sick. I pray God will continuously work in you when you are seeking Him. You, Curt and Ashton will remain in my prayer. Hopefully God is leading me back to Pakistan next year. I will see you guys around sometimes.

Molly - November 4, 2007

Hello Faithful Servants!! Hope all is well! My verse for the day says "Throw yourselves into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for him is a waste of time or effort". Made me think of the work you are doing and how easy it is to get caught up in the selfish world we often make for ourselves. You all chose to follow God's calling when he asked not when it was convenient for you. Keep up the good work!! Prayers and blessings!! :)

Mom - October 25, 2007
Hi David and Curt, We had prayer for you all Tuesday night. After we prayed,I read Ps.27 for you to the group. It was comforting and powerful. Be of good courage and send me an update. Love You Both!!!!!

Hopefully it will help in some small small way. Just wanted to let you know i haven't forgotten. I pray for you and Kurt often. -Shalom.
