Everybody is entitled to their own preconceived notion, and Pakistan definitely holds a preconceived notion in most people's minds. When we say we are going to Pakistan, you probably think of Arabs with towels wrapped-up on their heads, riding camels across some God forsaken desert tundra with AK-47's, right?

Actually this is partially right! (Kim, sorry I laughed at you.) The southern and western part of Pakistan is actually like a scene from an Indian Jones Movie.
Look that up at Google because that is not the part of Pakistan that we are going to.
Pakistan, which is officially the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, is a republic in South Asia, marking the region where South Asia converges with Central Asia and the Middle East. It has a 1,046 kilometer coastline along the Arabian Sea in the south, and is bordered by Afghanistan and Iran in the west, India in the east and China in the far northeast.

Do you see the Northern part of Pak there? Up by the big purple China...yeah, that's where we will be, with this guy...
Want to see a picture of that?
Get ready because this is a whole different ball game than what you were probably thinking about Pakistan.

IS THAT NOT AMAZING!!!
And we all know that pictures don't even compare to being there. So we must say, we are all excited out of our heads about going to Pakistan where our...psychotic outdoor, hiking, climbing, river crossing, camping, wiping with leaves, and packing it out in a Pringles Can...selves can go nuts!
So...now that we've gotten your interest, feel free to go check out more information at this collection of websites.
"But isn't it a war zone and dangerous over there?" You would say to us.
Well, it may be a bit more dangerous that a casual afternoon at Starbucks or Sunday morning in the sanctuary...at least for now. But here is one thing we know. There is nothing to fear except disobedience to God. We know we were called to go to Pakistan and share the love of God. So we are going...what did God call you to do? Are you doing it?
